In the Organization chart tab, you assign general access rights for the organization chart menu and for editing organizational units and roles.

Read access

Read access to the published organization chart

If this option is enabled , the users are allowed to view the Organization chart menu, provided that the organization chart has been marked as published.

If this option is disabled, the Organization chart menu will be hidden for these users. All other settings for read and edit access will then be grayed out.

Export of the organization chart as PDF

If this option is enabled , the <PDF Document> button will be displayed to the users in the Organization chart menu, allowing them to save the currently displayed section of the organization chart as a PDF file.

Write access

Write access to the organization chart

If this option is enabled , the users are allowed to edit the organization chart, e. g. by moving existing organizational units.

Editing is then possible in the Organization chart menu as well as in the Settings menu under Users, privileges and organizational units -> Organizational units / roles.

If this option is disabled, all other settings for edit access will be grayed out.

Create and edit organizational units

If this option is enabled , If this option is enabled, the users are allowed to create new organizational units in the organization chart, edit the properties of existing organizational units and delete organizational units.

Create and edit roles

If this option is enabled , the users are allowed to create new roles, edit the properties of existing roles and delete roles.

Roles can then be managed both in the organization chart menu and in the catalogs menu.

Publish the organization chart

If this option is enabled , the <Publish the organization chart> button will be displayed to the users in the Organization Chart menu.

This button can be used to temporarily hide the organization chart for users who have only read access, so that planned changes will only be visible when publishing is enabled again.
