In these windows, data from the catalogues Terms & Abbreviations and Requirements can be linked to a process.

Catalogue entries are usually created and edited in the Catalogues menu. However, additional entries can also be created for the catalogue during process modelling (see below).

In the menu Processes the entries of both catalogues can be viewed and managed via quick access.

The windows for terms & abbreviations and requirements are also listed in the process description.

Terms and abbreviations

Terms and abbreviations can be used to explain internal abbreviations used in the process model or in the description of tasks and artifacts.

With a click on <Edit terms and abbreviations> and then on the button <Add> the entries of the catalogue appear.

In order for the correct catalogue to open at this point, it has to be defined as the catalogue for terms & abbreviations or for requirements in the configuration.

Multiple entries can be selected and added to the process via <Transfer>.

If an abbreviation is missing, which should be explained in more detail, a new abbreviation can be added directly to the catalogue via <New entry>. This entry can then be reused in other processes.

Requirements

By linking standards & requirements, a process can be marked to ensure the fulfilment of certain chapters of standards within the company. In this example, the process ensures that the requirements of chapter 4.1 of ISO 9001:2015 are fulfilled.

Chapters of standards from the Requirements catalogue can also be linked to documents.

Creating and editing catalogue entries as well as linking to processes works in the same way as with the catalogue Terms & abbreviations.

In the reporting for processes and documents, the object 'Process group, process, document, norm' can be used to evaluate which chapters of a standard from the catalogue were linked to which processes and documents in SmartProcess.
